October 17, 2005 Landscaping begins.
October 14, 2005 FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION - PASSED.
September, 2005 Final Plumbing Inspection - PASSED.
June 19, 2005 Plant a tree (and some landscaping) in honor of  Dad Torrence.
June 14, 2005 Final Electrical Inspection - PASSED.
June, 2005 Pour concrete for driveway & front walkway. Stucco front & side walls.
February-March, 2005 We start hanging pictures.
January 3, 2005 Finally - the decorating begins...
December 13, 2004 Furniture finds its new home; china finally gets unpacked.
November 22, 2004 Carpet installed.
October 20, 2004 Tiling begins on the bathrooms and entryway.
September 15, 2004 Paint inside and outside.
September 1, 2004 Dry wall gets textured inside while siding goes up outside.
July 31, 2004 Insulation and dry wall begin...
July 30, 2004 Rough plumbing, electrical and framing inspections pass
May 15, 2004 Rough plumbing & electrical begin...
May 8, 2004 Roofing is done - time for the Topping Off Party!
April 30, 2004 Moved out of rental house; stored everything in basement

August 27, 2003 House plans are approved by community design review
March 7, 2003 Moved to Maui
August 13, 2002 Lot #23 is ours
